Entry-Level Resume Examples — No Experience, No Problem
You don't need work experience to build a strong resume. You need to package what you have: education, projects, and skills.
Lead with Education: degree, institution, GPA (3.5+), relevant coursework, and academic achievements.
Projects are your experience: describe 2-3 projects with your role, tools, and outcomes as if they were jobs.
Example project entry: 'Campus Food Finder — Built a web app mapping 30 campus dining spots with real-time hours. Used React and Node.js. 400+ student users.'
Include leadership and activities: club roles, sports team leadership, volunteering, or part-time jobs all show soft skills.
Skills section: list technical skills, tools, languages, and certifications you actually have.
Use a summary instead of an objective: 'Motivated CS student with hands-on React and Python experience through 3 project builds.'
One page, clean format, zero typos — attention to detail signals professionalism.
