Marketing Resume Guide — Metrics Every Marketer Must Show

Marketing is a numbers game. Every bullet should show ROI, reach, conversion, or revenue impact.

Quantify campaigns: 'Launched a multi-channel campaign reaching 1.2M users and driving $850K in attributed revenue.'

Show full-funnel thinking: 'Increased top-of-funnel traffic 60% via SEO while improving landing page conversion from 2.1% to 3.4%.'

Use marketing vocabulary: CAC, LTV, ROAS, CTR, conversion rate, pipeline, MQLs, SQLs, retention, email automation, paid acquisition, SEO/SEM.

Show channel depth: 'Managed a $500K/month paid budget across Google and Meta, maintaining a 3.8x blended ROAS.'

Mention tools: Google Analytics 4, HubSpot, Salesforce, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Meta Ads, Google Ads, SEMrush, Ahrefs.

Include content and brand wins: 'Grew organic LinkedIn following from 5K to 40K, driving 30% of inbound leads.'

Demonstrate experimentation: 'Ran 40+ A/B tests per quarter, iterating on creative and offers to lift CVR by 22%.'
