Numbers make your resume 3-5x more compelling. Here's how to add them to any bullet.

Use four types of numbers: money ($), percentages (%), time (days/hours), and scale (users, teams, data).

Vague: 'Improved customer satisfaction.'

Quantified: 'Raised customer satisfaction from 78% to 91% in 6 months through process changes.'

Vague: 'Managed a team and delivered projects.'

Quantified: 'Led a team of 8 to deliver 6 projects on time, generating $1.2M in revenue.'

Estimate when you don't have exact figures — and be ready to defend the estimate in interviews.

Apply metrics to every role, even non-technical ones: volume, frequency, cost, speed, and quality.

Place the number early in the bullet for maximum impact: 'Cut costs 30% by...'
